Tech Savvy icon E

When more than 200 investors, entrepreneurs, and partners gather for the Aarhus Investor Summit on October 9, it will also be the culmination of this year’s INCUBA award. The jury has now selected six finalists, who in their own way have made a significant impact on the Aarhusian startup ecosystem.

On the startup side, Cernel, Cystotech, and Formalize are in the final field. The three represent life science, software, and globally scalable business models, and are examples of the strong growth layer emerging in Aarhus.

In the investor category, the final field goes to Anders Thorhauge Sandholm, Mikkel Skorkjær Kongsfelt, and Stefan Rosenlund. Common to the three profiles is that, with capital, experience, and networks, they have engaged significantly in lifting new East Jutland growth companies.

According to the jury, this year’s final field shows both the breadth and strength of the Aarhusian ecosystem, where entrepreneurs and investors drive development forward side by side.
