Aarhus-based accounting software has increased its revenue tenfold. Now they are changing their name and aiming for the next growth chapter.
On October 1st, Digital Revisor got a new name and became Reportability. The Aarhus-based software company, which since 2017 has helped businesses prepare and submit their annual accounts themselves, marks the next step in its growth journey with the name change.
“The new name clearly signals our desire for more people to be able to report and submit correctly on their own. We have always been a digital self-service tool, so it’s time to drop the word ‘revisor’ and focus more on what we actually work for every day: Making reporting easier and faster,” says founder and CEO Niels Dahl.

The company started in 2017 with a simple tool for solar panel accounts. Since then, it has expanded to process tools aimed at businesses, accountants, and bookkeepers.
Now Has over 16,000 Users
Over the past five years, the company has increased its revenue tenfold and now has 16,000 users. According to the company, Niels Dahl is a natural consequence of the solution having developed far beyond its original function over the years.
Digitization has made accounting processes easier but has also brought new requirements. The new bookkeeping law from 2024 and the tightened ESG requirements from banks in 2025 are examples of the challenges Reportability will help users handle in the future.
“I have been self-employed for several years now and am a former accountant, so I am familiar with the many requirements from authorities, and there doesn’t seem to be fewer in the coming years. To meet them, we have recently launched an ESG reporting tool for small businesses, so the barrier to getting started is lower,” says Niels Dahl.
He continues:
“The change is not due to a restructuring or a merger, so the core of the company and the product remains the same. We are known for our efficient and user-friendly tool, as well as a sharp support team. We are, of course, not changing that,” says Niels Dahl.
